- Go to a Group chat.
- Select the ‘Add Participant/Member’ option.

5.24 How do I forward messages in a group?
- Select the message by pressing and holding it.
- Tap the forward icon on the pop-up.
- Select a contact from the contact list or ‘Chats’ window.
- Tap to send.
5.25 How do I share my message to an external app
You can share all messages, including media and text messages that you sent or received in a
group chat thread to an external app. Follow the steps below:
- Press the message
- Tap on the sharing icon (three traced dots)
- Choose the external app where you desire to share the message
5.26 How do I check my Message History by Date/ Day?
In a group chat thread, you can see your message history by scrolling the messages up and down.
All the messages sent and received by the group participants are in the divisions according to
their delivery dates/days.
5.27 How do I delete a message?
- Select the message by pressing and holding it for a few seconds.
- Tap on the delete icon on the pop-up.
- You can choose from the following two options to delete a message:
- Delete for Me: To delete the message for yourself only, or

Delete for Everyone: To delete the message for yourself as well as the other group
participants
(The said option can only delete the messages sent by you in a group chat)
5.28 How do I clear chats from a group?
- Open the group you wish to clear.
- Tap on ‘Clear Chat’ option.

- Press and hold the chat.
- Tap on the delete icon on the Pop-up.

5.30 How to check the preview of the media you have sent and received in a group chat?
- Open a group chat
- Tap on the group’s name (Group info)
- Check the ‘Media, Links, and Docs’ section. All the media files you have sent and received
will be there.
Please note that any media files that you had deleted earlier from the chat thread will
not be visible in the preview.
5.31 What is my message info and how do I check it?
Your message info shows the delivery status of a particular message in a chat thread along with
time. To check the status of a specific message, follow the steps below:
- Tap on the message.
- Choose the info icon to view the details.
- Here you can view which members of the group have received your message, viewed it, or are
yet to receive your message.
5.32 How do I check my message status?
You can determine the message status through the status of tick marks or the symbol beside your
message and in the ‘Info’ section of the message; details of the different statuses are below:
- Clock: Shows pending/waiting status and means that the message isn’t sent yet due to
poor or no internet connectivity
- Single Tick: You have sent the message, but the group participants have not yet
received it
- Double Tick: The participants have received the message
